Job summary

Kimal is looking for a Production Stores Operative at our Worcester site. You will support manufacturing by accurately picking, packing and preparing components and materials into kits for the production line, while following our safety and quality procedures.

Key duties include stock checks, kit preparation, labeling, and ensuring traceability. Excellent attention to detail and teamwork are essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

• Experience in kitting, stores, manufacturing or warehouse environments.
• Good attention to detail and high accuracy.
• Basic computer skills and ability to use stock management systems.
• Ability to lift and move materials as required.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Numeracy and literacy skills.
• Ability to stand for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Accurately pick parts and materials according to production orders and bill of materials.
• Prepare kits for production in line with scheduled demand
• Ensure correct labelling, packaging, and traceability of all components
• Carry out inventory checks and report stock discrepancies
• Support cycle counts and stock rotation activities
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation in the kitting and stores area
• Always follow company health & safety and quality procedures
