Job summary

ForFarmers in the United Kingdom seeks a Production Operative to ensure safe operation of production facilities and to produce SKUs in line with prescribed quality standards and the production plan timelines.

You will support KPI delivery, assist in emergencies, conduct hygiene tasks, and work with Engineering to minimise downtime while driving site improvements and pest control measures as required.

Qualifications

• Must ensure safe operation of production facilities.
• Produce SKUs in line with prescribed quality standards and production plan timelines.
• Assist in controlling operating costs where possible.
• Support delivery of KPIs in a timely fashion.
• Assist in emergencies or incidents and support hazard reporting.

Responsibilities

• Work with Engineering to minimise breakdowns, outages, downtime and assist with PPM.
• Proactively support production management to improve plant efficiency and bottlenecks.
• Undertake hygiene tasks to ensure safe and compliant operation of site.
• Follow Environmental Management system requirements and ensure internal/external standards are met.
• Deputise for senior staff as required and cover other roles within production as staffing demands.
