CV Technical is recruiting a Production Shift Supervisor in Boston for a full-time, permanent role within a manufacturing setting. You will lead a production team to meet targets while upholding quality, safety and efficiency standards.

The ideal candidate has prior supervisory experience in manufacturing, strong leadership, and a proactive approach to continuous improvement with excellent communication and organisational skills.

Qualifications

• Experience as Production Supervisor, Shift Supervisor or Team Leader in manufacturing.
• Strong leadership and people management skills.
• Experience working to production KPIs and targets.
• Proactive problem-solving and continuous improvement mindset.
• Good communication and organisational skills.
• Knowledge of Health & Safety and quality standards in manufacturing.
• Comfortable working a continental shift pattern.

Responsibilities

• Lead, motivate and develop a team of production operatives.
• Ensure daily production targets and KPIs are achieved.
• Promote and maintain a strong health and safety culture across the shift.
• Monitor product quality and ensure all procedures and standards are followed.
• Coordinate staffing levels and allocate work effectively.
• Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and drive process efficiencies.
• Work with engineering, quality and warehouse teams to minimise downtime and maximise output.
• Complete shift handovers and production reports.
• Support training and development of team members.
