Job summary

Pioneer Selection Ltd is seeking an experienced Shift Production Supervisor for a Halifax manufacturing site. You will lead production teams, allocate workloads and drive performance, quality and safety to meet targets in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires hands-on leadership, strong communication and the ability to respond quickly to production issues while maintaining an organised and safe working environment on a day-based shift pattern.

Qualifications

• Previous production experience within a manufacturing environment.
• Previous supervisory or team leader experience in a manufacturing setting.
• Strong understanding of production targets, quality standards and health & safety.
• Willing to work a shift-based pattern (days only, no nights).

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise production operatives across multiple areas.
• Allocate workloads and monitor performance to meet targets.
• Address production issues quickly while maintaining safety and quality.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Quality, Warehouse and Management teams.
• Drive continuous improvement and efficient handovers between shifts.
