Job summary

Rubicon Recruitment Group in Holton Heath is seeking a Production Shift Manager to own an AM shift, supervising a team of around 7 and ensuring output meets targets.

You will run the floor from opening to closing, operate production machinery when needed, and maintain health and safety standards to support site performance.

This hands-on leadership role offers real autonomy, on-site parking, and the opportunity to influence site operations on your shift.

Qualifications

• Proven supervisory or shift management experience in manufacturing or production.
• Hands-on experience operating production machinery.
• Strong ability to manage people including attendance and performance.
• Solid understanding of health and safety on a production floor.
• Organised and decisive with responsibility for a site.

Responsibilities

• Overseeing all production operations on the AM shift, driving output, quality and efficiency.
• Running and operating production machinery alongside the team when required.
• Leading, supervising and motivating a team of around 7 production staff.
• Opening and closing the site securely at the start and end of each shift.
• Managing sickness, absence and attendance, including return-to-work conversations and records.
• Taking ownership of shift performance, resolving issues quickly and escalating where needed.

Production Shift Manager | £35,000 per annum | Holton Heath

Take full ownership of a production shift as a Production Shift Manager , with the ability to supervise your own team and achieve production targets. You'll run the floor from open to close, leading a team of around 7 and making the calls that keep output on track.

This is a hands-on leadership role where your decisions directly shape how the shift performs.

Hours

• Monday to Friday - 7am to 3:30pm
