Job summary

Manpower, Inc. in Wellingborough is seeking an experienced Production Scheduler to join a busy manufacturing operation. You will create and maintain production schedules, balance demand with capacity, and ensure on-time delivery.

The role is full-time (40 hours/week) with a competitive salary of £35,000 per annum. You will collaborate with Supply Chain, Operations, and Production teams to optimise schedules and improve performance.

Qualifications

• 3+ years' experience in production planning or scheduling in manufacturing.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent communication across teams and departments.
• Experience using SAP and planning software.

Responsibilities

• Create and optimise production schedules to support manufacturing requirements.
• Monitor performance against plan and identify improvement opportunities.
• Analyse scheduling issues and collaborate with operations to resolve challenges.
• Communicate schedule changes and priorities across departments.
• Track critical production activities to meet delivery targets.
• Lead scheduling reviews with key stakeholders.
• Prepare performance reports and support continuous improvement.
• Escalate delays and propose solutions to maintain efficiency.
