Job summary

Marine Resources is seeking an experienced Production Planning & Efficiency Manager to lead the planning between multiple vessel builds and drive continuous improvements in a high-value manufacturing environment. The role is initially contract-based for 3 to 6 months, focusing on reviewing processes, optimizing planning, and ensuring timely delivery without compromising quality.

The ideal candidate has a proven track record in production planning, shop-floor engagement, and delivering efficiency

Qualifications

• Proven experience in production planning, manufacturing, operations or build management.
• Background within marine, yacht building, composites, aerospace, automotive or other high-value manufacturing environments.
• Strong understanding of production scheduling and resource planning.
• Experience identifying and implementing operational improvements.
• Comfortable working on the shop floor and engaging with production teams.
• Commercially aware with a proactive, solutions-focused approach.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Renowned for exceptional craftsmanship, engineering excellence and attention to detail, they are now seeking an experienced Production Planning &EfficiencyManager to support an exciting period of growth. This is a Senior level role.

This is a unique opportunity for a hands on manufacturing professional who enjoys bringing structure, efficiencies and driving improvements within a complex build environment.

Initially offered on a contract basis 3 to 6 months, the role will focus on reviewing current production processes, improving planning and ensuring projects are delivered efficiently without compromising the exceptional quality standards the business is known for.
