Job summary

Marine Resources Limited is seeking an experienced Production Planning & Efficiency Manager on a contract basis to support a period of growth in the luxury yacht sector. The role is senior level and hands-on, focused on bringing structure, efficiencies and improvements within a complex build environment in Southampton.

Initially offered for 3 to 6 months, the role will review current production processes, enhance planning and ensure projects are delivered efficiently while maintaining

Qualifications

• Proven experience in production planning, manufacturing, operations or build management.
• Background within marine, yacht building, composites, aerospace, automotive or other high-value manufacturing environments.
• Strong understanding of production scheduling and resource planning.
• Experience identifying and implementing operational improvements.
• Comfortable working on the shop floor and engaging with production teams.
• Commercially aware with a proactive, solutions-focused approach.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage production plans across multiple vessel builds.
• Review current manufacturing processes and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Drive efficiencies across production, reducing bottlenecks and improving workflow.
• Monitor build progress and ensure project milestones are achieved.

• Support the resolution of production challenges and delivery risks.
• Establish effective planning and reporting processes to support future growth.
