Job summary

• Work in an operational environment across production and supply chain.

Production Planner x 10

On-site attendance at Aldermaston and Burghfield; 5 day week

Duration - 18 Months

Please advise rate sought - The position is Inside IR35 (PAYE or Umbrella)

Systems - Experience with SAP and an understanding of ERP / MRP2 systems

Vetting - DV Clearance

Main responsibilities would be:

• The creation and maintenance of Rough Cut Capacity Planning models.
• To detail plan methods of manufacture in response to tasking requirements with full regard to time, cost and quality.
• Ensuring the local MRP system is updated and accurate.
• Ensuring that customer requirements are planned and released to Manufacturing and Operational activities within the timescales required.
• To provide manufacturing cost estimates and challenge operation times.
• Compliance with Inventory control processes.
• To demonstrate and use 'Lean Planning' techniques and 'Production Control' processes such as visual management, Kanban and Push/Pull in the operational/ manufacturing areas.
• Experience of working in operational environment, production, and/or supply chain functions.
