Job summary

Vanta Staffing are currently looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Production Controller to join an established engineering and manufacturing business based in High Wycombe. You will coordinate daily production activities and monitor progress to ensure orders are completed on time, working with multiple departments to align materials, resources and schedules.

Qualifications

• Experience in production control, planning or manufacturing coordination.
• Familiarity with MRP/ERP systems and production planning tools.
• Understanding of stock control and manufacturing processes.
• Knowledge of ISO 9001 quality management.
• Strong organisational skills and ability to manage several priorities.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate production schedules and monitor progress to meet deadlines.
• Collaborate with purchasing and materials teams to ensure supplies are available.
• Monitor stock levels and maintain efficient material flow.
• Adjust schedules in response to changing priorities and resource availability.
• Maintain accurate production records and internal reporting.
• Identify delays and work with colleagues on practical solutions.
• Provide progress updates and flag issues affecting delivery deadlines.
• Liaise with quality and engineering to maintain product standards.
• Support improvements to production processes and efficiency.
