Job Description:

VANATH is working with a well-known engineering company in Newry to recruit a Production Planner. This is a permanent position based at the company's Newry office, with shifts from Monday to Friday, 8am - 5pm Monday - Thursday and 8am - 3:45pm on Friday. No weekend work. The role offers growth opportunities, competitive benefits, and progression.

Responsibilities:
  1. Control and update production schedules, ensuring data accuracy and integrity.
  2. Coordinate with Production Management to schedule production efficiently and meet customer requirements.
  3. Communicate production completion dates to sales in a timely manner.
  4. Raise work orders for finished products and run Material Requirements Planning (MRP) processes.
  5. Create Bill of Materials (BOM) for hitches and buckets in the ERP system based on engineering data.
  6. Track production metrics such as labor efficiencies and cycle times.
