Job summary

CBSbutler Ltd. in Kidderminster is seeking a Production Planner to own short- and mid-term production planning and scheduling, ensuring manufacturing activity is well planned and targets are met.

This is an onsite role within our rocket propulsion manufacturing operation. You will develop and manage plans across processes, monitor progress and capacity, and collaborate with Production, Procurement, Materials, Quality and Engineering teams, using MRP/ERP systems such as SAP to ensure materials

Qualifications

• Proven production planning and scheduling experience in manufacturing.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, capacity and constraints.
• Experience with MRP/ERP systems; SAP experience is a plus.
• Excellent organisational and communication skills.
• Proactive, solutions-focused approach.
• Leadership or supervisory experience is desirable with progression potential.

A fantastic opportunity to join a world leader in rocket propulsion technology and play a key role within our manufacturing operation.

We are looking for a Production Planner to take ownership of short- and medium-term production planning and scheduling, ensuring manufacturing activity is effectively planned and production targets are achieved.

The role:

• Develop and manage production plans and schedules across multiple manufacturing processes.
• Monitor production progress, capacity and constraints, proactively addressing potential delays.
• Work closely with Production, Procurement, Materials, Quality and Engineering teams.
• Use MRP/ERP systems to ensure materials and components are available to support production.
• Maintain accurate planning data, BOMs, lead times and stock requirements.
• Monitor planning KPIs and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
• Take ownership of planning issues and drive solutions through to resolution.

We're looking for:

• Proven Production Planning / Production Scheduling experience within manufacturing.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, capacity and production constraints.
• Experience with MRP/ERP systems - SAP would be advantageous.
• Excellent organisational and communication skills.
• A proactive, solutions-focused approach.
• Leadership or supervisory experience is desirable, but we are also interested in experienced planners with clear leadership potential and aspirations to progress.
