Job summary

Sigma Recruitment Limited seeks a Senior Planner to lead production and materials planning during an ERP rollout. You will own the production plan, manage forward reviews, and ensure on-time delivery across the department.

With a strong background in batch manufacturing and hands-on ERP experience, you will drive improvements, optimize stock and capacity, and collaborate across teams. The role offers a generous holiday allowance and a final statement of salary.

• Hands-on experience with an ERP system, and the appetite to develop and improve it functionally, not just work with it.
• The confidence to challenge and drive production towards solutions when the plan slips.

Responsibilities

• Create, monitor, and optimise the production plan; your skills will keep everything running smoothly and ensure customer deadlines are always met.
• Lead forward order reviews each week and turn monthly Sales Demand Reviews into actionable, achievable plans.
• Drive OTIF and arrears performance by spotting risks early and taking proactive steps to keep everything on track.
• Schedule raw materials to keep production moving, without tying up cash in excess stock.
• Your balance of efficiency and cost control will be key.
• Champion new scheduling and planning practices as you help embed a cutting-edge ERP system.
• Your input will shape how things are done for years to come.

Your salary, benefits & hours of work £38,000-£45,000 depending on experience.

38 hours a week: Monday to Thursday 08:00 to 16:30, Friday 08:00 to 14:30
