Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a detail-oriented Production Planner for their East London operations to optimize manufacturing schedules, manage inventory, and coordinate with sales, procurement and production teams to meet customer demand. The role is hybrid, balancing on-site collaboration with remote work.

You will hold a Bachelor's degree in Operations Management, Supply Chain or related field, have at least 3 years of production planning experience, and be proficient with ERP systems and Excel.

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in production planning or scheduling within a manufacturing environment.
  • Proficiency in production planning software, ERP systems, and Microsoft Excel.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to manage complex data sets and forecast demand.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

  • Develop detailed production schedules based on demand forecasts, order priorities, and available resources.
  • Monitor production progress and adjust schedules as necessary to accommodate changes or unforeseen issues.

About the Role

You will be responsible for creating production plans, managing inventory levels, and coordinating with various departments to meet customer demands.
