Job summary

Azenta UK, Ltd. is seeking a Production Planner for its Wotton facility. The role focuses on planning and scheduling production to meet customer requirements across injection moulding and laboratory processes.

Working hours are Monday to Friday, 8:00am to 4:30pm, on site. The candidate will collaborate with demand planning, coordinate maintenance, and develop capacity plans while tracking performance metrics and supporting annual audits.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of planning, coordinating, scheduling and production control experience, preferably with plastic injection moulding
• Good understanding of Oracle or similar MRP-based planning system
• Ability to handle multiple competing priorities, optimize lead times and reduce inventory
• Experience working for a global organization preferred

Responsibilities

• Plan and schedule production, including injection moulding and clean room processes
• Coordinate with demand planning to meet business priorities
• Incorporate maintenance tasks into capacity schedules
• Schedule trials of new tools and R&D activities
• Provide lead time data and flag delays to demand planning
• Generate production performance metrics
• Support annual inventory audits
• Handle ERP transactions and create works orders for new products
• Review holiday schedules to plan resources
• Perform other reasonable duties as assigned
