Job summary

Arch Steel, part of ArcelorMittal Construction, is seeking a Production Planning Coordinator to manage customer orders from receipt to delivery and completion. You will coordinate production bookings, schedules, and paperwork, while handling queries and supporting the invoicing process.

The role requires strong organisation, attention to detail and confidence in communications across departments to ensure timely service.

Qualifications

• Experience in production planning or manufacturing coordination.
• Strong organisational and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Able to handle multiple orders and deadlines under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate customer orders from receipt through to production, delivery and completion.
• Book jobs into production and maintain production schedules.
• Coordinate delivery and collection dates and manage paperwork.
• Respond to customer queries throughout the process and raise purchase orders.
• Maintain accurate production records and support invoicing (SAGE input, training provided).
• Provide general office and administrative support to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.
