Job summary

Arch Steel, part of ArcelorMittal Construction, is seeking a Production Planning Coordinator to join the team and keep customer orders and production activity running smoothly.

You will coordinate orders from receipt to production, delivery and completion, booking jobs, maintaining production schedules and handling paperwork. The role requires strong organisation, attention to detail and excellent communication within a small team.

Qualifications

• Experience in production planning or manufacturing coordination.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple orders.
• Strong communication and administration skills.
• Confident, resilient and customer‑focussed.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate customer orders from receipt through to production, delivery and completion.
• Book jobs into production and prepare production schedules.
• Coordinate delivery and collection dates and manage associated paperwork.
• Respond to customer queries and raise purchase orders as needed.
• Maintain production records and support invoicing, including SAGE input.
