Job summary

Polkadotfrog is partnering with an Essex-based business to recruit an experienced Production Planner. The role involves planning and coordinating production to ensure materials, equipment and work orders are in place on time.

You’ll monitor progress, resolve delays and work with internal teams to maintain efficiency. Ideal candidates will have prior production planning experience, excellent communication skills, and a proactive approach to problem-solving in a busy environment.

Polkadotfrog are delighted to be partnering with a fantastic Essex-based business as they look to welcome an experienced Production Planner to their team.

This is a great opportunity for someone who thrives on organisation, enjoys keeping things moving and has a keen eye for detail. You'll play a key role in ensuring production runs smoothly, efficiently and to schedule.

What will you be doing?

As Production Planner, you'll take ownership of the planning and coordination of production, making sure the right materials, equipment and work orders are in place at the right time.

Your key responsibilities will include:

• Planning, scheduling and coordinating the production of a wide range of products


• Evaluating raw materials and equipment to ensure everything is ready for production


• Creating, distributing and booking in Works Orders


• Monitoring production progress and proactively resolving any issues or delays


• Working closely with internal teams to keep production running efficiently

What are we looking for?

We're looking for someone with previous experience in a production planning environment, who is organised, proactive and confident communicating with people at all levels.
