ALOIS UK, Burghfield, is seeking 3 experienced Production Planners to support manufacturing and science demand across delivery teams. The roles are full-time, on-site, with a 1-year contract.

You will manage the Master Production Schedule, develop detailed production plans, apply Lean Planning techniques, and collaborate with manufacturing, engineering and suppliers to balance demand and improve performance.

Qualifications

• Master Production Schedule maintenance and forecast accuracy.
• Experience in production planning within manufacturing/precision engineering.
• Experience with MRP/ERP systems and production reporting.
• Knowledge of Lean Planning, Kanban, and continuous improvement techniques.

Responsabilités

• Maintain the Master Production Schedule and ensure forecast dates are accurate.
• Develop detailed production plans considering time, cost and quality.
• Maintain accurate information within the local MRP system.
• Apply Lean Planning and Production Control techniques, including Kanban and visual management.
• Manage production constraints and resolve issues affecting delivery.
• Coordinate with manufacturing, supply chain, suppliers and stakeholders to balance demands.
• Support production cost and schedule estimates.
• Monitor and report production KPIs and forecast performance.
• Drive continuous improvement and operational excellence.
• Attend visual management meetings and ensure actions are followed through.
• Build relationships across manufacturing, engineering and supply chain teams.

We are looking for 3 experienced Production Planners to support manufacturing and science demand across operational delivery teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain the Master Production Schedule and ensure forecast dates are accurate.
• Develop detailed production plans considering time, cost and quality.
• Maintain accurate information within the local MRP system.
• Apply Lean Planning and Production Control techniques, including Kanban, visual management and Push/Pull processes.
• Manage production constraints and proactively resolve issues affecting delivery.
• Coordinate with manufacturing, supply chain, suppliers and other stakeholders to balance production demands.
• Support production cost and schedule estimates.
• Monitor and report production KPIs and forecast performance.
• Drive continuous improvement and operational excellence.
• Attend visual management meetings and ensure actions are followed through.
• Build effective relationships across manufacturing, engineering and supply chain teams.
• Proven experience in production planning within a manufacturing or precision engineering environment.
• Engineering background, particularly Precision Engineering, Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering.
• Strong understanding of machining processes, manufacturing routes and shop-floor operations.
• Experience managing materials, supplier deliveries, purchase orders and production schedules.
• Experience reforecasting production plans in response to supply chain challenges.
• Experience with MRP/ERP systems and production reporting.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Knowledge of Lean Planning, Production Control, Kanban or continuous improvement techniques.
