Job summary

10 Recruitment Ltd. is recruiting for a trainee extrusion setter/production operator role in a busy plastics manufacturing environment in Bingley.

The successful candidate will operate production and extrusion machinery, handle raw materials and finished products, and support the smooth running of the manufacturing process. The role is hands-on, physically demanding and offers progression into a skilled extrusion setter.

Qualifications

• Experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
• Comfortable operating production machinery.
• Ability to perform regular heavy lifting and manual handling.

Responsibilities

• Operate production, conversion, bagging and extrusion machinery.
• Load and prepare raw materials and film for production.
• Learn the extrusion process and machinery as training progresses.
• Develop machine-setting skills over time.
• Monitor machinery and production processes.
• Carry out production and quality records accurately.
• Maintain a clean, safe working area and follow procedures.
