Travail Employment Group is recruiting for an Extrusion Operative in Doncaster for a busy plastic extrusion company. You will join a modern facility, receive ongoing training, and work in a warm, clean environment to support 24/7 production.

The role covers machine operation, quality checking, packing and stock prep, with the aim of programming and running machines independently. Starting salary £30,500 during training rising to £32,400 on full training, plus benefits.

Extrusion Operative - Doncaster - £32,400 when fully trained

Working for a busy and growing plastic extrusion company, you will receive ongoing training in a modern, clean, warm and bright manufacturing facility. The shift as an Extrusion Operative can be busy and varied, involving machine operation, quality checking products, packing and preparing stock for dispatch and reporting any issues to management. You will ensure that the production line is running properly throughout the shift with the ultimate goal of programming and running the machines independently.

Communication is key in this role and you will need to follow verbal instructions, understand the agreed production plan and record all information on the data sheets, keeping the lines cleaned and maintained as instructed.

To apply for the Extrusion Operative position, you will ideally have previous extrusion experience. However, candidates with strong machine operating experience within engineering or manufacturing environments will also be considered.

You will be able to work to tight deadlines and achieve targets. You will also have basic IT skills and be comfortable inputting accurate data into relevant systems.

• Working week: A continental-style shift pattern operating 24/7 across days and nights.
