Job summary

Avenue Scotland is recruiting for a Production Operator to join a busy manufacturing facility in Glenrothes. The role involves operating production machinery safely, maintaining quality standards, and working to production targets.

Full training and an accelerated path to a Production Tool Setter are provided. The successful candidate will have manufacturing experience, attention to detail, and a proactive attitude, with opportunities for progression and ongoing training.

Qualifications

• Experience in manufacturing or production environment preferred.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings and use measuring equipment.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Good communication and organisation, with a willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

• Operate power presses, press brakes and projection welding machinery.
• Carry out spray painting as required.
• Load and unload materials.
• Inspect components to ensure quality standards.
• Assemble and pack products for dispatch.
• Meet production deadlines for high-volume components.
• Record production data accurately.
• Support wider production team with additional duties.
• Progress to Production Tool Setter after training (machine setting, maintenance support, forklift training).
