Job summary

Avenue Recruitment is assisting our client in Glenrothes to recruit a Production Operator to operate production machinery safely and efficiently, maintain quality standards and contribute to a busy manufacturing facility.

The role involves operating power presses, spray painting, loading/unloading, inspecting components, assembling and packing for dispatch, and progression to Production Tool Setter with full training.

Qualifications

• Previous experience within a manufacturing or production environment (preferred).
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings and use measuring equipment.
• Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
• Strong communication and organisational skills.
• A positive attitude with a willingness to learn and develop.
• The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• The ability to work under pressure and meet production targets.
• Capability to manually handle goods weighing up to 22kg.

Responsibilities

• Operating power presses, press brakes and projection welding machinery.
• Carrying out spray painting activities as required.
• Loading and unloading materials.
• Inspecting manufactured components to ensure quality standards are met.
• Assembling and packing products ready for dispatch.
• Manufacturing high-volume components to production deadlines.
• Supporting the wider production team with additional duties where required.
