Job summary

EMCO Wheaton, part of the Ingersoll Rand Transport Solutions family, is seeking a Production Operative to safely assemble and inspect products on the factory floor. The role involves operating production equipment, following SOPs, and achieving targets while maintaining quality and compliance.

You will work in a fully site-based environment with colleagues across the team, contributing to safe, efficient manufacturing and delivery of premium fluid transfer systems.

Qualifications

• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions accurately.
• Good attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Reliable, punctual, and flexible approach to work.
• Ability to work safely and follow health and safety procedures.
• Physically capable of performing manual handling and standing for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Operate production equipment safely and effectively.
• Assemble, inspect, pack, and label products according to specifications.
• Meet production, quality, and efficiency targets.
• Follow standard operating procedures and work instructions.
• Report defects, equipment faults, and safety concerns promptly.
• Maintain high housekeeping standards and support 5S activities.
• Comply with health, safety, environmental, and quality requirements.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues and supervisors to achieve departmental objectives.
