Job summary

Wicked Brick Ltd is seeking a Production Operative to join the on-site team. The role involves laser cutting, UV printing, CNC routing, packing and dispatch, and working in a cell environment to meet quality targets and deadlines. You will operate equipment, support a fast-paced production flow, and maintain high safety and housekeeping standards.

Starting salary is £27,000 per annum. The role reports to the Production Manager and runs on a two-week rotating schedule, Monday to Friday, with

Qualifications

• Experience in manufacturing or production preferred but not essential.
• Technical certification or vocational training in laser cutting operations preferred but not essential.
• Proficiency in reading technical drawings and blueprints.
• Ability to troubleshoot equipment malfunctions and perform routine maintenance tasks.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Flexibility to work different shifts as needed.
• Physical ability to stand for extended periods.
• Willingness to undergo additional training.
• Commitment to maintaining a safe and clean work environment

Responsibilities

• Meet daily production and quality targets within the work area.
• Operate a variety of production equipment (laser cutting, UV printing, CNC router).
• Pack and despatch products and prepare outgoing goods for courier collections.
• Maintain and monitor machinery to ensure safe operation and efficiency.
• Liaise with Shift Managers to ensure smooth workflow and efficiency.
