TE Connectivity in Swindon is seeking a Production Operator to operate machines and support the manufacture of wire and cable products. You will work within a manufacturing team to ensure production targets are met, following quality standards and procedures.
Responsibilities include changeovers, quality checks, documentation, and maintaining a clean, safe workspace in line with TE's EH&S policies. Weekend night shifts 18:00–06:00 Fri–Sun.

Job Description:
Operates machines and tools used in manufacturing processes to achieve production targets.
TE Connectivity's Manufacturing/Production Teams transform raw materials into finished goods and ensure component flow. They perform changeovers and setups according to production schedule, perform quality checks according to established processes and document the results as required by our quality procedures. Every team member is responsible for maintaining housekeeping and organization of the work area as well as following TE Connectivity's EH&S policies and procedures.
This role requires the person to work Weekend Nights 18.00 - 6.00 Friday, Saturday & Sunday.
The ability to read and follow work instructions/methods, manufacturing specifications and quality standards.
An ability to conduct effective handovers to maintain workflow.
Experience of working with Quality Management and Quality Productivity Systems.
Good numeracy and literacy skills.
A logical and methodical approach to tasks.
A flexible approach and a willingness to learn new skills.
