Job summary

MTrec Ltd in Shildon is seeking a production operative to set up and operate a range of production machinery, perform tool changes and sample checks to meet production requirements.

You'll carry out routine maintenance, complete paperwork, and work to strict daily targets in a fast-paced factory. The role may lead to permanent contract for the right person, with pension, parking and subsidised canteen provided.

Qualifications

• Experience in fast-paced production environment.
• Physically fit for handling heavy products.
• Able to work independently or in a team and meet targets.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate production machinery.
• Perform tool changes to meet production needs.
• Check at various stages and take samples.
• Complete paperwork to document production steps.
• Carry out routine maintenance and report issues.
• Carry out general labouring duties in a factory.
• Keep own area clean and tidy.
