Hours:

12-hour Shifts (6am - 6pm) around 38.5 hours per week (Continental shift pattern 2,3,2 which will include weekends)

£24, depending on experience

Adecco is excited to be working alongside their client based in Maldon, who is looking to hire a Production Operator to join their team on a full-time permanent basis.

This role is line-based and includes standard responsibilities of a production line operator: responsible for the operations and safety of the assigned production line and personnel, under limited supervision from shift supervisors, with the ability to follow a plan and meet targets.

* The line is mostly automated; operating computer software is essential - training will be provided.

* Operate machinery.

* Accurately complete daily updates for the line.

* Plan ahead for product changes.

* Keep the line organized and tidy at all times.

* Update visual management boards hourly and during shift handovers.

* Operate a forklift to bring in materials and transport finished products to the warehouse.

* Conduct quality checks on products and record data into the quality system after checks.

The Successful Candidate Will Have:

Experience in operating and changing programs on machinery.

Physical fitness is required due to physical work involved (lifting, pushing, etc.).

Previous machine operation experience is necessary.

Motivated, positive self-starter with a willingness to learn.

Forklift license is desirable but not essential.
