Job summary

Forterra Building Products Ltd is hiring a Production Operative for the Newbury team. You will operate plant and equipment safely and efficiently while learning multiple production processes to support block production for commercial and housing markets.

The role stresses health & safety, quality control, and teamwork. Training on batching, packaging, and related plant will be provided to help you deliver high-quality output.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Maintain high standards of health & safety for yourself and others.
• Adhere to site quality systems and complete process control sheets.
• Report quality concerns to line manager and follow risk assessments.
• Operate and be trained on manufacturing machinery and plant on site.
• Ensure guarding is fitted and PPE is maintained.
• Contribute to a sustainable culture at the works.
