Job summary

Atkore is recruiting a Production Operative to support manufacturing within the West Bromwich site. You will operate production equipment, ensure quality, and maintain records while working a rotating shift pattern.

The role offers a 39-hour week with rotating shifts and a base rate of £12.71 per hour plus a 22% shift allowance. Atkore values safety, teamwork, and continuous improvement, with strong pension and benefits outlined in the package.

Qualifications

• Good knowledge of production equipment.
• Able to work as part of a team and as an individual.
• Motivation to beat targets safely and required quality standards.
• Ability to comply with and promote ATIRE and SQDC values.

Responsibilities

• Operate break press.
• Produce at the required rate and take action to achieve that rate.
• Inspect incoming and outgoing parts and materials.
• Keep production and quality records up to date.
• Ensure 5S standards are maintained in the area.
• Be involved in continuous improvement processes.
• Follow Health & Safety procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
