Job summary

Recruit4staff are representing a manufacturing business seeking a Production Operative to work in Knighton. You will run production lines, perform quality checks and record downtime.

Shifts are 12 hours on a 4-on, 4-off cycle, rotating between day and night. The role is temporary ongoing with pay at £14.10 per hour, and opportunities to develop within a busy factory. Applicants should have good English and maths, and be committed to health and safety. Food Safety Level 2 is advantageous.

Qualifications

• Strong English and maths skills are essential for the Production Operative role.
• Ability to follow health and safety policies and risk assessments.
• Previous production experience would be advantageous for a Production Operative.
• Food Safety Level 2 qualification.

Responsibilities

• Run production lines across the factory, carrying out and recording quality checks and documenting equipment downtime.
• Ensure equipment is kept clean through regular hygiene procedures while adhering to health and safety policies and risk assessments.
