Job summary

Meridian Business Support Ltd is helping a Bridgwater manufacturing site recruit a Production Operative for a temporary assignment. You'll work on a 4-on 4-off, 12-hour rotating shift, operating beverage filling lines and supporting changeovers, with basic maintenance and fault finding in collaboration with engineers.

Applicants should have hands-on manufacturing experience in FMCG, a full driving licence, and be comfortable with PPE and IT data recording.

Qualifications

• Own car and full driving licence – essential
• Experience in fast-paced FMCG manufacturing environments
• Able to work both Days and Nights
• Comfortable wearing PPE (hair nets, earplugs)
• Confident using IT systems to record production data
• Adherence to SMOKEFREE site rules while at work

Responsibilities

• Operate machinery to support changeovers and line readiness
• Conduct basic maintenance and fault finding in collaboration with engineering
• Complete required documentation for audit readiness
• Work as part of a production team to achieve factory performance targets
