Production Operator - Alness, UK (2 positions)

Join a leading manufacturing company based in Alness, Ross-shire, known for its commitment to quality and 100% on-time delivery. Our client is experiencing a surge in customer orders and is seeking a dedicated Production Operator to become an integral part of their dynamic but small team. This is a fantastic opportunity for those looking to develop their skills in a supportive environment, with the potential for a permanent position for the right candidate.

We have 2 positions with our client. One will be a temp to perm contract, the other is just for 6 weeks to start ASAP - to cover over the summer during a busy manufacturing period and cover for staff holidays etc. May suit a student.

Job Responsibilities:

• Operate production machinery and equipment efficiently.
• Follow production schedules and adhere to quality standards.
• Assist in the assembly and packaging of products.
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
• Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors.
• Participate in training sessions to enhance skills and knowledge.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Good communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to follow instructions and work collaboratively in a busy manufacturing environment.
• Technically minded with a keen interest in machinery and production processes.
• Previous experience in a manufacturing or production role is advantageous but not essential.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new processes and technologies.
• Able to work Monday to Friday 8.15 am start to 5.00 pm, early finish Friday.
