Job summary

A production operator role is available at our Kirkcaldy site, working within a well-established manufacturing environment. The position is rotational with days, back, and night shifts and requires hands-on involvement in the mixing process, weighing lino cement and pigment, plus light labour tasks.

Experience in manufacturing and strong safety awareness are essential. Local candidates able to commute or transport themselves to Kirkcaldy are preferred.

Salary: GBP13.21 - GBP15.51 per hour

Our leading Global Client are looking for aProduction Operatorto join their well established team based at their Kirkcaldy site. These roles will be for a minimum of 6months but may go on longer depending on business needs and performance !

Reporting into the Production Team leader, your key duties will include:

• Mixing operator starting on mixing process – weighing up lino cement and adding pigment
• Manual handling (no more than 25kg lift)
• Perform various labouring tasks as needed

This is a rotational shift role and would suit candidates with the following key skills and experience:

• Detail-oriented, physically fit, and eager to contribute to a high-performing team.
• Proven experience in a fast-paced manufacturing or production setting
• Excellent teamwork and communication skills
• Strong focus on safety and compliance with health and safety regulations
• Capable of handling physical tasks and manual labour)
• Willing to work in a dusty environment , mainly indoors

Competitive Pay Structure and shift pattern :

• Dayshift - Mon-Thurs 6am-2pm , Frid 6am-12pm £13.20ph
• Backshift-Mon- Thurs 2pm-10pm, Frid 12pm-6pm £13.96ph
• Nightshift-Mon-Thurs 10pm-6am, Frid 6pm-12pm £15.51ph

There will also be the opportunity to work overtime at enhanced rates !!

Please note that due to the location and shifts required for this role you must be locally based and if out with Kirkcaldy be able to drive/have transport.
