Job summary

Avenue Scotland is seeking a Production Operator to join the Kirkcaldy site on a minimum 6-month basis with potential extensions depending on business needs and performance. You will report to the Production Team Leader and perform duties including mixing, equipment cleaning, and general labour tasks in a dusty indoor environment.

The role operates on a rotating shift pattern across days, back, and night shifts with overtime opportunities.

Our leading Global Client are looking for a Production Operator to join their well established team based at their Kirkcaldy site. These roles will be for a minimum of 6 months but may go on longer depending on business needs and performance !

Reporting into the Production Team leader, your key duties will include:

• Mixing operator starting on mixing process - weighing up lino cement and adding pigment
• Cleaning equipment at colour changes
• Manual handling (no more than 25kg lift)
• Perform various labouring tasks as needed

This is a rotational shift role and would suit candidates with the following key skills and experience:

• Detail-oriented, physically fit, and eager to contribute to a high-performing team.

• Capable of handling physical tasks and manual labour)
• Willing to work in a dusty environment , mainly indoors

Competitive Pay Structure and shift pattern :

• Dayshift - Mon-Thurs 6am-2pm , Frid 6am-12pm £13.20ph
• Backshift-Mon- Thurs 2pm-10pm, Frid 12pm-6pm £13.96ph
• Nightshift-Mon-Thurs 10pm-6am, Frid 6pm-12pm £15.51ph

There will also be the opportunity to work overtime at enhanced rates !!

Please note that due to the location and shifts required for this role you must be locally based and if out with Kirkcaldy be able to drive/have transport.
