Position: Production Operator

Hourly Wage: $18.50
Work Schedule: Monday through Thursday, 10-hour shifts; overtime on Friday as needed.

Job Purpose

The Operator will execute production tasks following established procedures to ensure safety, quality, service, and cost efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate production assets safely and according to guidelines and industry practices.
• Perform daily production, preventive maintenance, data collection, and administrative tasks.
• Report safety, quality, or process issues to supervisors.
• Meet production targets while maintaining quality standards.
• Report hazards and issues promptly.
• Update progress and participate in meetings.
• Contribute to investigations of safety or quality issues, including customer complaints and rejects.
• Engage in continuous improvement activities related to HSE and quality.
• Comply with all safety, HSE, and regulatory policies.

Key Activities

• Transfer, label, and document product containers accurately.
• Measure and fill containers, check for leaks, and complete batch tickets.
• Dispose of filters and clean equipment properly.
• Label and stage containers and cleaning materials appropriately.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety in the work area.
• Perform other duties to support production.

Job Requirements

Preferred prior manufacturing and paint manufacturing experience.

Essential Qualifications:

• Ability to follow safety instructions and guidelines.
• Pass forklift certification and operate forklifts safely.
• Accurately read labels, measure, and weigh materials.
• Lift and handle containers up to 75 lbs.
• Effective interpersonal skills and ability to work independently.
• Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work safely in various environments.
• Physical ability to stand, walk, climb stairs, and work in hot/cold conditions.
