Job summary

Manpower UK is seeking reliable Production Operatives for ad-hoc shifts in York. Roles are flexible and offered on an as-required basis to help you earn extra money before Christmas. Duties include supporting production, handling pallets, and basic data entry.

Training may be provided, with on-site parking and immediate registration for upcoming shifts. Typical rates are paid hourly, with day and night options and 12-hour shifts.

Qualifications

Manpower is currently recruiting Ad-Hoc Production Operatives on behalf of our client based in York.
These roles are ideal for candidates looking for flexible work to supplement their income. Shifts are offered on an as-required basis, meaning you will be contacted when work becomes available. This is a fantastic opportunity to earn some extra money in the lead-up to Christmas while gaining experience with a leading food manufacturing business.

Production Operative

Pay Rates

• £14.80 per hour - Days
• £15.80 per hour - Nights
• 12-hour shifts
• All breaks paid

Shift Times

When available, shifts will be:

• 6:00am - 6:00pm
• 6:00pm - 6:00am

Please note this is not a guaranteed-hours position. Shifts will be offered based on business requirements, and candidates will be contacted as and when work becomes available.

Main Duties

• Supporting production operations within a busy food manufacturing environment
• Moving pallets and materials around the production area

What We're Looking For

• Previous production, manufacturing, warehouse or factory experience
• Food manufacturing experience would be advantageous

A PPT (Powered Pallet Truck) licence would be highly desirable; however, training opportunities may be available for suitable candidates.
