Job summary

Border Biscuits Ltd is seeking Production Operatives for weekend shifts (Saturday and Sunday) in Lanark. Working 6.00am–6.00pm, you will operate machinery, monitor processes and help maintain our high-quality standards in a busy production environment.

Qualifications

£13.45 per hour plus 28% weekend allowance

OUR PRODUCTION OPERATIVES - THE ROLE

As a Production Operator at Border Biscuits, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient running of our production lines. You will be responsible for operating machinery, monitoring the production process, and maintaining high-quality standards. This hands‑on role requires a keen eye for detail, a proactive approach, and the ability to work effectively as part of a dedicated team.

REQUIREMENTS

• Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment is desirable but not essential, as full training will be provided.
• Strong attention to detail to maintain our high-quality standards.
• Excellent team player with good communication skills.
• Ability to follow instructions and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Flexible approach to working hours, including the possibility of shift work.
