Job summary

Pin Point Recruitment is helping a world‑leading automotive manufacturer in Houghton‑le‑Spring recruit Production Operatives on a long‑term basis with immediate starts available. The role operates on a three‑shift rotation (days, lates, nights) with shift premiums and hourly pay: Days £12.71, Lates £14.74, Nights £17.67, plus overtime £16.90–£25.42.

You'll be part of a quality‑driven, safety‑conscious team, receive full training, and have opportunities for permanent roles as the site grows.

Production Operative - 3 Shift Pattern

Pay rates:

• Days: £12.71 per hour
• Lates: £14.74 per hour
• Nights: £17.67 per hour
• Overtime: £16.90 - £25.42 per hour

Their modern, well-organised facility has a strong order book and is continuing to grow and they're now welcoming Production Operatives to join the team on a long-term basis, with immediate starts available.

The Role

As a Production Operative, you'll be part of a close-knit production team, where quality, safety, and teamwork matter.

• Use specialist equipment such as air tools, spray guns, and hog rings
• Assembly and produce high-quality automotive components
• Carry out visual quality checks on your own work
• Follow clear health & safety processes designed to keep everyone safe
• Support your teammates to keep production running smoothly

No two days are exactly the same, and you'll learn valuable skills used across modern manufacturing.

Shift Pattern

This role operates on a three-shift rotation:

• Days: 7am - 3pm
• Lates: 3pm - 11pm
• Nights: 11pm - 7am

You’ll need to be flexible to work all shifts and overtime when required. Shift premiums reflect this flexibility.
