Baltic Recruitment is proud to support our prestigious client in Pickering who is recruiting for Production Operatives to join their busy team.

About the Business:

Our client is an international company that manufactures high-quality plastic injection moulded, painted, and assembled products using state-of-the-art injection moulding machines and modern technologies.

About The Role:

The role involves assisting the team to meet company goals efficiently and supporting production operations through a varied skill set. Support from team members to achieve objectives is expected.

This position offers an excellent opportunity to transfer to a permanent contract after 12 weeks for suitable candidates.

Transport is available from Scarborough.

Start Dates:

Immediate

Rotating Shift Pattern:

1. Week 1: Day Shift: Wed - Fri 7.50am - 8pm
2. Week 2: Night Shift: Mon - Wed 7.50pm - 8am
3. Week 3: Split Shift: Mon - Tue 7.50am - 8pm & Thu - Fri 7.50pm - 8am
4. Weekends off

Pay Rates:

£12.50 increasing to £13 after 12 weeks; overtime paid at £16.80.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Assembling parts according to customer specifications.
• Operating press machines safely.
• Picking, packing, labeling, and scanning finished products.
• Loading and unloading products following manual handling guidelines.
• Checking the quality of finished products.
• Maintaining good housekeeping in line with 'clean as you go' policy.

• Ability to perform repetitive tasks in line with performance targets.
