Job summary

Recruit4staff is assisting a well-established cheese producer in Oswestry to recruit Production Operatives. The role involves working on busy production lines, operating various machinery and performing quality checks. Shifts include a rotating day and night schedule, with 6am–6pm and 6pm–6am blocks.

Roles are temporary with the potential for permanent employment. Candidates should be comfortable standing for long periods and working a rotating shift pattern in a fast-paced food manufacturing

Qualifications

• Must be comfortable with rotating day and night shift patterns.
• Able to stand for long periods on a production line.

Responsibilities

• Operate cheese production machinery on the line to meet output targets.
• Perform quality checks to ensure products meet required standards.
• Assist with line setup and changeovers as needed.

Job Role:

Production Operatives will work within a busy cheese production environment, operating various production machinery, working on production lines and carrying out quality checks to ensure products meet required standards. Production Operatives will spend a significant amount of the working day standing on the production line and will be required to work both day and night shifts.

Essential Skills, Experience, or Qualifications:

• Must be comfortable working a rotating day and night shift pattern & spending significant periods of the working day standing on a production line

Advantageous Skills, Experience, or Qualifications

• Previous experience working within a food production environment
• Previous experience operating production machinery would be advantageous for Production Operatives
