Job summary

Recruit4staff are representing a well-established food manufacturing business in their search for Production Operatives to work in Oswestry. You will operate various production machinery on busy production lines and carry out quality checks to ensure products meet required standards.

The role involves standing on the line for long periods and working both day and night shifts. Shifts run on a 3 days on / 3 days off basis, with hours from 6am–6pm and 6pm–6am.

Qualifications

• Must be comfortable working a rotating day and night shift pattern & spending significant periods of the working day standing on a production line
• Experience in a fast-paced food production environment is advantageous

• Pay: £13.87 per hour
• Hours of Work: 3 days on, 3 days off, working days and nights, 6am-6pm / 6pm-6am
• Duration: Temporary to Permanent

Job Role

Production Operatives will work within a busy cheese production environment, operating various production machinery, working on production lines and carrying out quality checks to ensure products meet required standards. Production Operatives will spend a significant amount of the working day standing on the production line and will be required to work both day and night shifts.

Essential Skills, Experience, or Qualifications

• Must be comfortable working a rotating day and night shift pattern & spending significant periods of the working day standing on a production line

Advantageous Skills, Experience, or Qualifications

• Previous experience working within a food production environment
• Previous experience operating production machinery would be advantageous for Production Operatives
