Job summary

JDR Recruitment is seeking reliable Production Operatives for a Mansfield-based role. You will prepare materials, mix components, fill containers, and monitor equipment in a solvent-based adhesives production setting.

Full training is provided and you will join a supportive, long-term team with a regular, predictable schedule. The role runs Monday to Thursday, 6:00am to 4:00pm, offering a 40-hour week and an attractive three-day weekend.

Qualifications

• Reliable and punctual; able to work in a hands-on production environment.
• Physically capable of performing production duties.
• Able to follow safety procedures when working with chemicals.
• No previous chemical experience required; full training provided.

Production Operative Required

Mansfield (NG18) | £12.71 per hour, rising to £15.25 after training | Monday-Thursday, 6am-4pm

We're looking for reliable and hardworking Production Operatives to join a well-established manufacturing business based in Mansfield (NG18), just outside the town centre.

The company manufactures solvent-based adhesives, and you'll play an important role in keeping production running safely and efficiently.

What will you be doing?

• Preparing and handling raw materials for production

• Mixing materials in line with production requirements

• Filling and packing adhesive into containers

• Operating and monitoring production equipment

• Checking products meet the required quality standards

• Keeping production areas clean, tidy and safe

• Following health & safety procedures when working with chemicals

• Supporting the wider production team to keep everything running smoothly

No previous experience working with chemicals is required - full training will be provided. You'll receive training on the products, processes, equipment and safety procedures before working independently.

What we're looking for

Previous manufacturing or production experience would be useful, but isn't essential as full training is provided.

The hours & pay

Monday to Thursday: 6:00am-4:00pm - 40 hours paid.

That means every Friday, Saturday and Sunday off!

• £12.71 per hour to start

• Increasing to £15.25 per hour once fully trained (20% increase)
