Job summary

Gi Group is recruiting for Production Operatives in Andover. The role is temporary to permanent with a shift from 07:00 to 15:15, offering GBP12.71–GBP13.00 per hour plus free parking.

We are seeking committed individuals to join a growing production team and develop across multiple departments including aluminium, powder coating, wood and assembly. Benefits include weekly pay, progression to permanent contracts, and opportunities to train in all production areas.

Qualifications

• Commitment to the role and reliability in a production environment.
• Ideally some manufacturing experience and/or use of hand tools.
• Self-motivated with a practical approach to tasks.

Responsibilities

• Start on the fabric wrapping bench and stapling section, then move to other production areas.
• Gain experience across aluminium, powder coating, wood, assembly and QA functions.
• Use hand tools and heavy machines as part of daily production routines.

Salary: GBP12.71 - GBP13 per hour + Free parking

Our client based on Andover outskirts are currently looking for a Production Operative

to join a well-established company on a temporary to permanent basis.

Our client is a thriving local business, who are currently undergoing expansion and as a result are looking for committed individuals to become an important part of their team. They are not just looking for temporary staff; they want to grow their team.

Production Operative

Shift patterns and pay rates:

• Monday to Friday 07.00 – 15:15
• £12.71 - £13.00 per hour (depending on experience)
• Temporary to Permanent (12 weeks)

Skills and Attributes required for a Production Operative:

Initially you will start on the fabric wrapping bench and the stapling section, you will then progress to working in various parts of production, including; the aluminium shop, powder coating, wood shop, assembly, covering, bespoke manufacturing and quality assurance.

There will be some use of hand tools and heavy machines, such as pillar drills, chop saws, powder coating equipment and milling machines
