Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Production Operative to join our team and support our client who are experts in science.
Your job role as a production operative is vital to the operation and your day-to-day duties will be varied throughout the week.

Job tasks to include:
• Weighing, preparing the mixture
• Prepares and uses raw materials in compliance with instructions and manufacturing guidelines to produce finished products
• Package products according to standards
• Performs sampling in accordance with instructions
• Assist quality control to maintain standards
• Perform manufacturing operations and packaging without direct supervision. Self-monitoring quality and safety.
• Complete wrapping and palletisation alongside other logistical and dispatch duties
• Stock checks
• Detect anomalies
• Applies waste management according to guidelines
Previous experience in a similar role is required. You must be able to understand and communicate instructions and guidelines to meet standards.

Duration: This position comes with an immediate start following a successful interview and offers ongoing work.

Contract Type: Temporary

Hourly Rate: You will be paid a competitive £13.25 per hour.Holiday is accrued up to 28 days per year, pro rata.Please note, we do not provide Visa sponsorships.

Working Hours: This is a 4 day week working Monday to Thursday between the hours of 08:30am – 17:00pm. You will get a 45 minute unpaid lunch break meaning you are paid for 31 hours per week.

Experience & Qualifications

You will be from a similar background of working within a laboratory/warehouse environment. You will be an excellent communicator both verbally and written. Be able to work using your own initiative but also work well as a valued team player. We are looking for someone who wants long term ongoing work with the opportunity to progress.
