Job summary

Major Recruitment are seeking Production Operatives to join a busy manufacturing site in Bardon Hill. The role operates on a rotating shift pattern: 06:00-14:00 days and 14:00-22:00 afternoons, Monday to Friday. The environment is heavy, dirty, loud and demands physical effort.

The role includes training with clear progression opportunities, production and attendance bonuses, and an onsite canteen. Benefits include pension, health support, and free parking.

Qualifications

• Good communication skills in written and spoken English.
• Willingness to work in a physical, loud industrial environment.
• Experience in manufacturing or production is beneficial but not required as full training is provided.

Responsibilities

• Inspecting and repairing wooden pallets in a busy production environment.
• Operating tools such as pneumatic nail guns and reciprocating saws.
• Working to specifications and safe operating procedures.
• Adhering to all site health & safety rules and regulations.
• Carrying out manual handling tasks including heavy lifting, bending and twisting.
