Job summary

Greencore Wisbech is hiring a Production Operative to join our busy team. You will help make and pack chilled ready-to-cook meals, working safely and to the required quality. Training is provided and you’ll work on a Monday–Friday night shift from 19:00 to 03:00.

You will join a collaborative team on site with opportunities for development, a competitive hourly rate of £13.96, and benefits including a Refer a Friend reward, paid breaks and staff discounts.

Qualifications

• Previous factory experience isn't essential as full training will be provided.

Responsibilities

• Working on the production line.
• Preparing, handling and packing food products.
• Checking products meet the correct quality standards.
• Following instructions from your Team Leader or Supervisor.
• Making sure the correct equipment and PPE are used.
• Following Food Safety and Health & Safety procedures.
• Keeping your work area clean and tidy.
• Reporting any problems or concerns to your Team Leader.
• Working together with your team to meet production targets.
• Moving between different tasks or areas when needed.
• Completing simple checks and paperwork when required.

What you'll be doing:

As a Production Operative, you'll work as part of our Production team helping to make and pack our food products.

This is a busy, hands‑on role where you'll work together with your team to make sure products are made safely, on time and to the right quality.

Your duties will include:

• Working on the production line.
