Job summary

Linkster Recruitment Ltd. seeks a Production Operative for a permanent night shift at a manufacturing site in Swadlincote. You will operate moulding machines, monitor quality, pack components and record production data.

The role runs 21:00–04:40, Sunday to Thursday, with about four weeks of training on rotating mornings/afternoons. Starting rates are £15.36 per hour for nights (rising to £17.55 once fully trained) plus overtime at 1.5x–2x and a quarterly £125 bonus.

Additional Details – Production Operative

• Permanent night shifts: 21:00-04:40 Sunday to Thursday with initial training for about 4 weeks on rotating mornings and afternoons, Monday to Friday (05:00-12:40 / 13:00-20:40)

Benefits – Production Operative

• The role offers competitive pay, with rates rising to £16.51 per hour for day shifts and £17.55 per hour for night shifts once fully trained.
• Starting rates are £14.32 per hour for day shifts and £15.36 per hour for night shifts, including shift allowances. Pay increases are applied gradually, with the first increase taking effect after three months.
• There's also the opportunity for overtime, paid at 1.5x and 2.0x rates.
• Quarterly bonus payments of £125.
