Job summary

The Best Connection Group is recruiting for Production Operatives on night shifts at Burton upon Trent. You will operate moulding machines in the Moulding Shop, ensure quality, and maintain a safe workspace.

Key duties include loading/unloading materials, inspecting products, recording data, and packaging components. Previous manufacturing experience and a CB FLT licence are preferred, with full training provided and potential for permanent placement.

Qualifications

• Manufacturing experience preferred.
• Valid CB FLT Licence required.
• 1st Aid Certification.
• Experience operating machinery would be advantageous.
• Good attention to detail and quality standards.
• Good level of Maths & English.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Reliable, punctual and committed to working night shifts.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor moulding machines.
• Load and unload materials as required.
• Carry out visual quality checks on finished products.
• Trim, inspect and package components.
• Record production data accurately.

Production Operative (Nights)

Location: Burton upon Trent

Pay Rate: £17.95 per hour

Shift Pattern:

• Monday to Thursday: 10:00pm - 6:00am
• Friday: 6:00pm - 1:30am

The Best Connection are currently recruiting for Production Operatives to join our clients night shift team. This is an excellent opportunity to work for a leading manufacturer in a modern production environment.

The Role

As a Production Operative, you will be working within the Moulding Shop, operating moulding machines to produce high-quality polymer components. You will be responsible for ensuring products meet quality standards while maintaining a safe and efficient working environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Operating and monitoring moulding machines
• Loading and unloading materials as required
• Carrying out visual quality checks on finished products
• Trimming, inspecting, and packaging components
• Recording production data accurately
• Keeping the work area clean and tidy
• Following all health and safety procedures

What We're Looking For

• Previous manufacturing or production experience preferred
• Valid CB FLT Licence
• 1st Aid Certification
• Experience operating machinery would be advantageous
• Good attention to detail and quality standards
• Good level of Maths & English
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Reliable, punctual, and committed to working night shifts
• A positive attitude and willingness to learn
