Job summary

Medik8 is recruiting a Production Operative to support manufacturing and packaging of premium skincare products at our site. You will perform batching, filling, capping, labelling and quality checks to ensure products meet strict specifications.

We look for hands-on, detail-focused team players who can work in a fast-paced environment and contribute to a culture of quality and safety at Medik8.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment (preferred but not essential).
• Strong English and Maths skills.
• Excellent focus and attention to detail, with a commitment to quality.
• Organised, proactive and able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Guaranteeing all products are made to the highest quality standards and per product specification.
• Ensuring processes including weight, volume, labelling and cartoning meet specifications.
• Operating various machines and production stations following procedures.
• Maintaining daily and periodic cleaning of production facilities.
• Upholding GMP and cleanliness standards at all times.
• Adhering to Health & Safety policies at all times.

We have an exciting new opportunity to join our Production Team here at Medik8!

The purpose of the Production Operative role is to support the manufacturing and packaging of our award-winning skincare products, ensuring they meet the highest standards of quality and consistency. This is a hands-on and varied role, involving tasks such as batching, filling, capping, labelling, quality checking, and general production line support.

The ideal candidate will have exceptional attention to detail, be hands-on, methodical, a real team worker who enjoys a fast-paced work day.

This role will be site-based, Monday to Friday – 22:00 - 06:30. For this opportunity, we are offering £26,250 plus £4000 shift allowance.

In more detail your role will include

• Guaranteeing all products are made to the very highest quality standards and as per product specification.
• Ensuring all processes including weight, volume, labelling, cartoning are done to the highest standard and never below specification.
• Operating various machines and production stations in line with procedures.
• Guaranteeing daily and periodic cleaning of the production facilities as required.
• Ensuring GMP and the highest cleanliness standards are maintained at all times.
• Ensuring the company’s Health & Safety policy is maintained at all times.

Requirements
